In that movie, the main character is a guy who is rejected and isolated from the community, just because he is gay, it does not mean that he has to be outcasted from the community. It absolutely is an abuse of his human rights. There is a scene when he gets bullied by his schoolmates. He receives relentless blows from them and he almost dies. In my opinion, this movie does not only emphasize a danger of bullying, however, it also offers the the solution to prevent bullying, which is, to speak up and stand against bullying whenever you have chance to do so.

What did you learn on the Teens Against Bullying website?

I did learn that bully is really pervasive and perilous. Bully can kill one’s personality as well as self-esteem. Bullying happens everywhere, I personally think that it is not even worth bullying others thinking to get more fame. On the contrary, they are poisoning their own fame in the community. However, a way to prevent bullying is to stand and speak against bullying.

What lessons can you take from these two resources to use here at school?

First of all, I am so grateful that I am placed in a school that is safe and having securities that are reliable. The film told us bullying could happen on anyone and whatever causes it is. One person can get bullied by the society and the people of the society which make them feel bad and they loose confident on themselves. In instead of get rid of it., you need to have someone to support you and stand against them for you. In the film, Karen stood up for McClain and in addition, she gave martial arts lessons to him for self-defense.
