This week we will be looking at the power of social media and the #hashtag!

First of all, read this article.

Next, do a search for #hashtags that have been trending (popular/visible) since the Muslim Ban and other actions by President Trump.

1. Find 10 examples of social media posts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. 
2. Discuss what you think the hashtag means, whether it means different things to different people, and how the hashtags are being used on social media.
