Not to remain silent and speak for them. Make them know that they simply have to ignore those that bother them.

  5. What does bullying mean to you?

Bullying is more than just people picking on somebody else, also it affects the person who is being bullied tremendously. The person can commit suicide because of bullying also get into a clinical depression. Also I think that the people who bully others is just because they want to feel strong over other people, and those are the ones that need serious medical attention to fix their problems.

Have you ever been a victim of bullying? How did it make you feel?

No, I never been a victim of bullying and I am never going to be because I will stand up for myself and let nobody treat me how ever they want.

How is bullying a human rights issue?

Bullying is a big topic in our Human Rights class. It has to do with it because in our class we defend those who cannot defend themselves. It’s an issue that is all around the world specially in United States. All together we can make the world a better place.

What steps can you personally take to help those who are bullied

I can speak up for them, If I see bullying happening in front of my own eyes I won’t be a bystander and I will help those who need it. Also I would try to promote a school free from bullying, by advertising. I would never let anybody suffer or feel bad because someone else is bullying him/her I would speak up!

  6. Bullying means hell to me. Even though I don’t really remember how, but I have experienced it when I was a little kid. Most of the kids in my elementary school doesn’t like me. I would do anything just to stop it at that time. The damage was not that bad for me, but it was just frustrating. Bullying makes me feel really sad and desperate. Bullying is a human rights issue since the effect of bullying could affect person(s) life, even the whole community. It’s just really bad. Even from the trailer and interviews, we could see that bullying almost cause them their lives. Something that I could do to stop bullying is to get into the core of the problem and trying to stop it from there, either by counseling or just showing them movies, clips or any other things about the impacts of bullying.

  7. a. To me bullying means to put a threat on someone that is physically smaller than you without absolutely no reason of doing it. Bullying can seriously make a harmful effect on someone. In a worse case, it could lead to suicide.

    b. No I have never been bullied.

c.Bullying is a human rights issue because the bully has absolutely no rights to put a hand on somebody else. but by doing that, the person is taking away the right of another person . the right to be free. the bully basically take away that freedom by threatening the person no matter where he/she goes.Harass them in school,...etc.

    d. There are a lot of steps to take actually but the most important steps is to “step up”when we see somebody else bullied. We can not just be by stander forever.Who knows , it might happen to you to one day and you will know how it feels like to be bullied and why people did not help you that day. So to prevent anything like that to happen, stop being a by stander and be a role model. Step up!!

    c) I think that bullying is a human rights issues because the whole society is involved in it and it begins in school. There has to be a solution to fix that issue.

I have been seen some violent bullying. Some bigger students gather up to beat up a little student. That made me felt horrible because nobody should have right to beat up another.
Bullying is a serious human right issue because once bullying happens, that means somebody is being get hurt and the person’s right getting taking away.

  15. What does Bullying mean to you?
*For me bullying is the act of harrasing, insulting, or even ignoring someone in order to make them feel inferior or in order for the bully to feel superior.

Have you ever been victim of Bullying? How did it make you feel?
*When I was in middle school in my country I experienced bullying from one of my classmates... It was verbal, but it got me into 2 “almost fights” with that person. I didn’t liked what was happening and sometimes i felt really upset but I stopped that by first ignoring that person and telling her that I didn’t wanted to fight; and I also talked with the principal of my school (which didn’t worked) Fortunately at the end I was able to solve everything and I ended up being friends with the girl i got problems with :)

How is Bullying a human rights issue?
*It deals with human rights because it is a violation of the freedom and liberty of a person

What steps can you personally take to help those who are being bullied?
*Something we all can do is not to be bystanders and speak up when we see something happening. Another thing that I think is essencial is to make the person who is being bullied to feel support.

Bullying means to me is the worst feeling that you can get from someone about you and if someone hurts you or scared you. for example while you are in the cafeteria and some students talk about you like look at her she is so ugly or dressed up like something. Who insult you because of the way you are or about your culture.

  36. To me bullying is when you pick or hurt someone just because they are from a different race or sexual orientation for example . The person who bully doesn’t only hurt the victim physically but also mentally . The victim will be affected by all the bad and horrible things the bully say to them and their mind will be trouble with it . Personally I haven’t experience bullying but when I was young I have seen it happening and didn’t do anything to stop it . I really regret for not being able to do anything back then to stop it . I was young and full of fears on what is going to happen next and also I didn’t have any idea on what to do . Bullying is a human right issue/violation because when you bully someone you don’t respect them with who they are . You discriminate them form the others and you are taking away their freedom because you threat or beat them up when they want to do something and you dislike it . I guess the very first thing someone could do to stop bullying is probably by standing up toward those bullies and also if you become a victim don’t be scared or feel threaten by what the bully says since they have no right to tell you what to do or how to act .
