  1. Watching this video makes me feel encouraged to do the same thing. I know that yesterday we were brainstorming about entering the human rights competition. It wasn’t look like we were going to do this activity. Cyber bullying is a human rights violation because it’s still bullying and spreading hate. It’s even worse than regular bullying because it could get to the other side of the world. Everything spreads through the internet. Cyber bullying is also worse than face to face bullying because once we post something on the internet, it will stay there and last forever. I know lots of people that have been bullied, I only see them, but I never know who they are. I may not know how would they react, but I’m pretty sure that they would feel desperate and depressed. It’s similar to our assembly on Wednesday, but the assembly that we did was not as big as this one and it’s only a face to face interaction and not promoting anti-cyber-bullying.

    1. Hi Christian,
I agree. Cyber bullying is worse in many ways, particularly because it's anonymous, can spread so rapidly, and can last for much longer. I think our face-to-face interactions were very effective - we need to do a lot more of that!

  2. I feel happy because I just saw how the students changed their habits after they heard the speech of the detective.
In my opinion, I think its really hard than to face bullying because Bullying only happen in the place where you do not feel safe but , the cyber-bullying can happen at anytime ,anywhere and it does not stop like bullying. it keeps going on and on.
I don’t know anyone including myself of being cyber-bullied.
It is connected by the work we did on Wednesday February 15 2012, because we were teaching other students about cyber- bullying and bullying in school.

Cyber bullying is a human right violation because its bullying, and it spread hate within between students and people.
I think Cyber bullying is worse than face to face because it actually stays there and will be so hard to delete it ,plus lots of people will be able to see it and read it of the internet and share with so many other students.
Nope i have never talked to someone who has be cyber bullied but i think it will feel horrible and put him down really bad to a point where he would kill himself.
We spoke up to students about bullying and some of them didn't actually know anything about it, but we taught them.

  5. How do you feel about this video and why?

I feel motivated because I can see how efforts of students like us lead them to face cyber bullying together.
How is cyber-bullying a human rights violation?

Cyber-bullying violates the rights of the people by insulting them or making them feel bad emotionally.
Is cyber-bullying more dangerous or harder to manage than face-t0-face bullying?

Cyber-bullying is easier to manage because teenagers feel safe in a computer. However they can still feel bad about it.
Do you know of anyone, including yourself, who has been cyber-bullied? If yes, how did you or that person react?

No, fortunately i have not faced cyber-bullying but I’ve seen people get furious about it.
How does what you see connect with the assembly we led on Wed 2/15/12?

There is a connection where students like us want to make a change to face any type of bulling. It is great to work as teams to deal with it.

  6. How do you feel about this video and why?

I feel good to know that some people are speaking up and helping the students to understand how bad is about cyber-bulling. Also it is great to see students talking about their experience and how to be aware it.
How is cyber-bullying a human rights violation?

it is a violation because impact negative in the person who is being bully because can harm his feelings, make them feel unsure, depression, health problems and maybe death.
Is cyber-bullying more dangerous or harder to manage than face-t0-face bullying?

Cyber-bullying is really dangerous and hard to control because you cant control it but if is face to face someone can help you but cyber-bullying is different because everyone is reading and even if you erase it they will remember.
Do you know of anyone, including yourself, who has been cyber-bullied? If yes, how did you or that person react?

I had friends who has been cyber-bullied and their reaction were feeling depress, hopeless and unsafe and they just say they want to be death.
How does what you see connect with the assembly we led on Wed 2/15/12?

this video is similar to our assembly because we were explaining to others students about bulling others and what will happen but we didn't talk too much about cyber-bullied.

  8. I feel that video kind of teaches us a lesion how to behave online. Most of my friends are active on social media and we do see kind of stuff that they mention in the video but we don’t usually think about it on the way we are suppose to. I will recommend people I know to check this out. Cyberbullying is when a child or a teen is being threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed , etc. by another child using Internet, interactive and digital technologies and mobile phones and that’s how its human rights violation. In my opinion its harder to face cyber-bullying than Face-To-Face bullying because is harder to find the person who does something like that while in Face-To-Face bullying people can say and talk about what they see. I personally don’t know anyone who has been bullied. I think that any kind of bullying is a problem and we should work on the same way to stop it.

  9. - i feel bad about it because the same thing happened with me in fb when one of my friends start talking and said that my status was so gay which made me really angry.
    - well we are talking bad about people and say negative things, which make the person mad and some people take it serious and start acting crazy.
    - cyber-bullying is through Internet which means they can talk and talk and even if someone says to stop it, may be they will stop it but next day they will start all over again.
    - yes, it was me and i start getting mad because putting a post by telling my feeling doesnt mean it’s gay or something. so i wish if i could see that person face to face and punch him because he drove me crazy when he talk negative about me.
    - what we did on wed was teaching the students to stop bullying on internet, face to face, etc. our point was if we see something we step up and say stop.

  10. How do you feel about this video and why?

I feel a little bit disappointed because now young people is using the Internet, especially facebook to hurt or simply bother someone else but at the same time I feel very proud of some kids because they are using the same method through facebook to expand their message of support.
How is cyber-bullying a human rights violation?

Because the bullies are not respecting to the victims, they are bothering them sicologically.
Is cyber-bullying more dangerous or harder to manage than face-t0-face bullying?

I don't think its more dangerous because they can not hurt you through the computer but it is harder to control because they are not going to stop bullying just by asking, they know we can’t do nothing either through the computer.
Do you know of anyone, including yourself, who has been cyber-bullied? If yes, how did you or that person react?

I just see my friends joking around but that’s just with us because we have confidence between each other, but been honest I don’t know anyone who’s been cyber-bullied.
How does what you see connect with the assembly we led on Wed 2/15/12?

It is a violation because it hurts people not saying but typing it.

yes, i think so because with cyber bullying lots of people can read what the one who is bullying is writing, but when you said it with words not everyone can hear it.
Do you know of anyone, including yourself, who has been cyber-bullied? If yes, how did you or that person react?

  12. I feel encouraged after watching that video because now I feel like to do something like them. Cyber bullying is a human rights violation because its the worst bullying that can affect someone badly. Like if someone post a bad comment on the Internet that will stay forever and you will see that again again what will make you feel worsen and also everyone going to see that. while bullying face to face is only you will face not the world.
yes I know someone who has been cyber bullying. It happened in the face book. someone put something very bad about her in her picture. Because of that she felt worse and then she deactivated her face book account.
This video connect with the assembly we led on Wed 2/15/12 because we the whole class were teaching other students about bullying and cyber bullyiing around us.

  13. 1. The video makes me think about how Internet can be used as a tool for good and for bad as well. Many people use Internet to make others feel bad about themselves and their lives by posting harsh comments on social networks that make them seem inferior or offended.

    2. Cyber-bullying is as dangerous and as hard to manage as face-to-face bullying. In fact, cyber-bullying can be the initial act that leads to face-to-face bullying and physical attacks. However, the use of digital media to attack others is much more accessible currently, specially among teenagers, which leads to an increase in the frequency that bully happens.

    3. When I was a freshman in my high school in Brazil, some juniors students made funny comments about pictures of me with my friends in a social network. I felt pretty embarrassed and angry but I didn’t care that much about it and just removed the comment and tried to forget what they said.

4.The video is connected to the assembly because just as the students in the video we are attempting to prevent bully to happen in our school.

  14. I felt good and happy to see that there are people who wants to stop cyber bullying because it can affect everyone. Cyber bullying is the same as bullying or even worse in my opinion because there are many things that can happen on the internet and can last for much longer, it can affect anyone in many ways.I think cyber bullying is harder than face to face bullying because on the internet can happen many things that can affect any person at anytime and it continues and it’s worse because everyone can see it and it keep spreading. No I don’t know anyone but i guess they would feel bad because the internet is dangerous, there are many things that can happen and it will continue if no one stops it.
It is similar because we were teaching other students how can they stop bullying, and they can teach others and we all can promote No cyber bullying and bullying.

  15. By watching this video I feel more encourage to do something more about bullying. Right now it’s a very big issue whether it’s cyber bullying or the regular bullying. Cyber bullying is a human rights violation it’s also one kind of bullying and people spreads hate. It’s even worst than face to face because in the Internet like facebook or twitter and everything go through the Internet. When we post something somewhere it will stay forever. Me myself and I have not meet with anyone who has been cyber bullied but I can understand that how it feels being bullied. On wed 02-15-12 was the awesome day for us. It’s also kind of similar assembly but what we did is we teach the lesson only some of the classes about regular bullying and cyber bullying.

the cyber-bulling a human rights violation is some people insult others people by the Internet. And this people are affect mentality with the insult in the Internet.
3.Is cyber-bullying more dangerous or harder to manage than face-t0-face bullying?

4.Do you know of anyone, including yourself, who has been cyber-bullied? If yes, how did you or that person react?

  17. This video made me think a lot about how we are sometimes unaware of the way we use the internet because sometimes without meaning it we see things and we even do things that can be named as bullying but im happy that at the end, after hearing the speech they changed their way of thinking. Cyberbullying is a human right violation because it does involve harrasment against someone. Bullies take advantage of the "immunity" that being at the other side of the screen gives them; thats why is more difficult to handle because some people hide behind fake ID's to make this kind of stuff, it is also more dangerous because it may allow a "larger audience" to see the harassment against someone and other may unite with the bully too. Fortunately I've never experienced ciber-bullying but I've heard about many stories in the news and also some people that I know who have experienced it. This relates to the assembly we had because we were teaching students about bullying and because we as the people from the video are trying to make pur part against bullying.

How is cyber-bullying a human rights violation?
It is a human rights violation because the impact is negative. The victim be mentally hurt.
Is cyber-bullying more dangerous or harder to manage than face-t0-face bullying?
Yes,I think it is. Because cyber bullying separate much faster than face to face bullying. Also it is harder to control cyber bullying.

People who bully others in the Internet, they say some bad words about people who doesn’t like them or they don’t like others.
Is cyber-bullying more dangerous or harder to manage than face-t0-face bullying?

Yes, I think cyber-bullying is more dangerous or harder to manage than face to face bullying, because Internet is very advanced and everyone use computer now, people could find anything from Internet. If one person who insult another person, there are many people could see this massage in the Internet.

  25. That was a very interesting and touching video because some of the students that participated were really confident to talk about their own experience on cyber - bullying and how serious and dangerous it can affect people .Cyber bullying is a human right violation because when we bully someone online we are hurting then mentally ( we post bad things about them so that everybody else could see it ) and nobody should have the right to do such a thing . I think cyber-bullying is harder than face bullying because if you know the bully , you can find ways to get some helps to stop him/her from doing it again like . But if it is online that you get bullied by someone , that person can be anonymous so you have no idea who it is , or how to tell them to stop bullying you . But also if you do know the person and they post terrible things about you online as the students in video said , nobody says anything to help you to stop that person and they just ignore it like they have never seen it. Personally nowadays I really don’t know anymore if people online are serious or if they are just kidding since everybody post /say stuff about each other and cursing a the same time . I mean I have seen this a lot and I just don’t get it .
We all want to stop and prevent bullying either face to face or cyber . in order to stop it we have to first understand and know why people bully online , how does it affect the ones being bullied and most importantly how we can stop this bullying from continuing .

  26. I am very happy to see people try their best to build a better, more peaceful, safer environment. The children who got lost in the Justice way are coming back, they change their behavior and understand the human rights more, it’s worth to be congratulated.

People can spread the bad thought and slander others widely by Cyber-bullying, and it is not easy to stop it completely in a short time.

I think cyber-bullying and face-to-face bullying have the equal dangerous, they both hurt others.

No, people who surround me have not meet cyber-bullying.

Whatever this video or our assembly, we both show them what is bullying.

  27. ,form this video we can see how the speech influence others.this is kind of encourage for us to keep our work up and teach more students about our class and human rights.

cyber bullying is most dealing with mind , people gave the hard time and bad image about how the victim is. i think cyber bullying is more dangerous than face to face bully, because cyber bullying is more hurt to one person. and it can lead suicide if the victim can take it. but, the good thing is all my friends don’t have this problem. on Wednesday , we were teaching other students ,this is just like the video show us. and we spread out about human rights.

  28. I felt very touched, I liked how the kids were actually going to speak up for those who were being attacked verbally by others. Although most of them also said that they would be afraid of putting something in the Internet because is there for ever. Cyber-bullying is a human right violation because we are degrading someone else. Also we are torturing a person by things we say and that can lead to suicide. I think both cyber-bullying and face to face bullying had the same impact because both of them can lead to the person being attacked to commit suicide or other dangerous things. Thankfully I don´t know anybody who´s being cyber-bullied and I hope not to meet anyone but If I do I would speak up for them. In the assembly we held we were talking about bullying and the different aspects of it, and I think it helped the kids understand what is bullying better and try to speak up for others and not be a bystander.

  29. How do you feel about this video and why?

I feel the argument video talks about is really a issue. Just like what video says the internet-bullying is not controllable by teachers and parents. Students are bullied can not avoid from those embarrassment.
How is cyber-bullying a human rights violation?

It hurts people mentally, which can not avoid off. People will get very upset for cyber-bullying. It’s not like normal-bullying, which can be ignored or prevented.
Is cyber-bullying more dangerous or harder to manage than face-to-face bullying?

Yes, it is. The internet information is hard to control. And when it spread out, it goes through very place. It seems no way to get management on internet.
Do you know of anyone, including yourself, who has been cyber-bullied? If yes, how did you or that person react?

Yes, I know from my friend who had been cyber-bullied. I was getting know about this after it happened and ended. My friend reacted very upset, badly.
How does what you see connect with the assembly we led on Wed 2/15/12?

It makes perfect march with our assembly and this blog. We are lobbying people to not to bully others in anyways.

  30. I feel happy because I just saw how the students changed their habits after they heard the speech of the detective. I think Cyber bullying is worse than face to face because it actually stays there and will be so hard to delete it ,plus lots of people will be able to see it and read it of the internet and share with so many other students. No I didn’t know anyone has cyber-bullying. It is connected by the work we did on Wednesdaythe fifteen February 2012, because we were teaching other students about cyber- bullying and bullying in school.
