  1. From Amnesty International, I learned more about how to help people by sending funds or joining Amnesty International to provide the service for unfair Human Rights’ victim. I learn about some problems around the world. It also give specific info about the problem in a specific topic or country. The website is somewhat inconvenient for me, because I have to download before I read the articles. I don’t really like this website because of it only provides words and less picture. I could use this website to check and do some research about the human rights problem in my country.

From Human Rights Watch, I read articles about problem in religious freedom. The website itself is okay, looks really simple and neat. They provide brief and advance English. I can use this website mostly about problem in the U.S. I don’t see lots of important information regarding my country. I would really prefer this website to search information from bigger and developed countries.

ADL website, not like the first two, is more about how to educate, join, or help people for human rights. This website is “more likely” for people in the U.S. and I think that this website is convenient for the people that live inside the U.S.. For people outside the U.S. they can help donating or join ADL’s program that will eventually reach their country after. This website has international affairs, but it only take a big problems around the world. Not too much information about outside country is given here. I would prefer to use this website to check information about problem that’s happening around the U.S. especially if its in local or state level. It also provide us with lots of information of how can we help to “combat” hate all around the world. We should start by doing something small like this and goes for a larger influence after.

When I was looking to this page and I noticed that it has information from countries all over the world, this is a very good page for people who migrated from their native countries to another place and want to be informed. Also I saw that you can help them by becoming a member or simply supporting them and this page has a lot of new about my country but most of them i had never heard. They are trying to defend the rights of people from different countries and want to end the violations of human rights. I can use this website to get lots of details from specific news in a specific country.

    *Human Rights Watch
I really like this page and I think is one of my favorites because here we can find news from all over the world but all of them are summarized and that’s what I like, it gives us the main information, what is the most important but if you want to get more information it also has it too. This page offer us the summarized stories and the complete stories too, also we can find information from our native countries and the purpose of this organization is to defend human rights specially in the areas where there had been violations of these rights. It doesn’t have so many news about my country but it has the most important ones. I could use this website to get a main idea or a summarized news about events that are happening in my country or that are happening in other places around the world.

    *The Anti Defamation League
When I was reading this page I noticed that there are no news about other countries. This page talks just about the discrimination and injustice that is happening in the United States. Also alike the Human Rights Watch it gives us a summary about it’s news and also the full news. There is another thing that I noticed in this page, and its that there is happening something here with the Jewish people, it seems that in the U.S there had been a lot of discrimination with them and this organization is fighting for a secure justice and fair treatment for all the citizens. I can use this page for make researches about some events related with the human rights in some parts of the United States or even in my own city (NY).

  7. Amnesty International :

I enjoyed visiting and looking around this website .It is very interesting the fact that you could check out many different articles about many different countries human rights . I was even more amazed that they had a lot of articles talking about human rights in my country since usually when I go to a website and they say you can look and find out what is going in your country they don’t have anything about Madagascar and if they do all they talk about is something that happened a long time ago or only the good things that are going on . And that brings to why I love this website .They tell you what is really going on, good or bad . The newspaper paper company that are in my country put the news online and they can’t really write bad stuff about the “ government ” since if they do , they will be sent to jail or there company will be closed down .So there is no freedom of the press which is why I am so thankful to this website for putting up all these articles so everyone could see and know the truth . And plus we can read the articles in French meaning if I send this link to my friend or family back in my country they will be able to know what going on and also to see that there are organization supporting . That is why this is one of my favorite .

    Human Right Watch :

It wonderful that everyone around the world could check out this website because we can read the news /articles in many different languages . I liked it because they were a lot of pictures , videos , podcast that we could look and listen to . One thing I learned from visiting this website is about the killing that happen in Libya in June 1996.The name of the article just caught my attention so I started reading it . After reading the article , everything that happened back then was told by one of the prisoners that survives . He described how the prisoners were killed and it was just very terrifying to me . It was just so cruel . In the future , I will probably use this website to watch some videos and to listen to some podcast about human rights since it has a lot of it .

    The Anti Defamation League :

There are a lot of things in this one but they are mainly focusing on what is going here in the United States . I learned that the ADL are protecting and fighting against a lot of things . For example they protect religious freedom , education and more . They also are combating hate racism , discrimination . What I really like about this website is that they were very clear with what they are fighting against and what they are protecting . They explained it very well so it pretty clear .

  8. -Amnesty International: While i was looking at this page, i search the news happened in my own country. And i knew that they have offices in more than 80 countries around the world, the goal of having these offices is to stop the abuse of the human rights.
2.Human Rights Watch:Through this website, i learned many information about the abuse of the human rights happened in China. And i read the article “My Children Have Been Poisoned”,
From that article, i know the Chinese government are not taking care of the children. They do not even want to give the medicine to the sick children. And just let them stay in high risk.
3.ADL-This website is different from the other two. This website is mainly talk about the discrimination and hate crime happened in The United States.

  9. Amnesty International-I learned many things in this website. It talks about the organization fights for every country for the rights. Then I know about the unfair things in the world and think about what I can do to solve it for the better future.
From Human Rights Watch- I read this article, and I also know it’s about the freedom of religious. It’s important for people to have rights for religious. And it also told something about Chinese human rights that I never know before. It would help me in the future. So that can show us what problem the world still have.
The Anti Defamation League- The website is showing us the hate crimes and fighting for the human rights. The thing that I learn is we cannot stay in quiet; we should stand up and fight for our rights

  11. There were a lot of new and interesting web sites that we visited. I have to say that from each different website I learned something totally new and that will be useful for the rest of my life. In the website of “Amnesty International” I learned that you can visit the website and you are able to see the different rights around the world and some problems that certain countries are having this rights. The next website is “Human Right Watch” and it’s very similar to the one adobe. You can learn what types of human rights are being said around the country in your own country or in any other. In the website of “Anti Defamation League (ADL)” we can see that people are fighting for their rights and to stop the hate crimes. An example in the website is the muslam population being every day less wanted in the united states. This helps us to see the hate that is going around not only the U.S but around the world. The website about “Teaching Tolerance” is a very good and useful site cause it can teach ourselves how to be tolerant and how to respect others no matter their race, ethnicity, etc. “The Youth For Human Rights” is a great website it shows you all the rights you have, it also shows you how the rights began and it explains you that you must be aware of your rights all the time. This is very helpful and will show the people some examples of every single right. Finally the website “Not in our town” is very important, our school (newcomers high school) is in that website and it shows how much and how important human rights is for us. These rights affect all of us specially because we come from parts from all around the world and we know that sometimes these rights that seem so simple can be abolished by the superior law.

All of these website can be very useful and we can use them in a lot of ways. We can learn from the to see what our rights are, we can teach friends about the websites so that they are aware of it too. We can use it in our daily life, and not let nobody break our own human rights.

My favorite website was the “Youth for human rights”. It had a lot of things we could see and learn from. The videos that they show from our 30 rights are just amazing I think all the people should be aware of this website so they can know what their rights are and don’t let nobody break them. It is also great because it tells you from the very beginning how human rights were created. This is something we are going to be caring for the rest of our lives, and this website shows it very clearly.

  14. I like the first web site, because in that one we could find the status of the human rights in our countries. what I liked more is that I read that in my country is happening the same as in Alabama, as they are taking out the immigrants, that are not Americans; we are taking out the Haitians, unless they have Dominican residence. I disagree with this, and I liked that the Dominicans are becoming aware , and they are stopping these, they are saying that it is unfair for the Haitians, the ones that are sick or the ones that don’t have a place to live because of the recent earthquake that pass in their country. I can use this website for myself, because I can be informed oh the stuffs related to human rights in my country.

I also like the web site number two, because it made me know about the status of woman with HIV in my country, and how the big companies discriminate them , after the interviews, they ask them for an HIV test and when they have positive HIV, they tell them that the jobs are not given to those kind of people that are infected. The article that I read suggest to the government to give help to the women and to protect them human rights. This web site can also inform me of the news about human rights, while I am far away from my country.

I love to see that there are organizations taking care of the hate crimes laws, that we are really needing all over the world.I had read that there is a big impact in all the victims that had passed by hate crimes, and I think that they suffer but also the families of the victims. Many immigrants suffer hate crimes, and who knows if today we are not in a bad position , but tomorrow we can be another victim of hate crimes.

  15. 4.Teaching Tolerance- After i read this website, i notice that this website is also create the magazine. I read the story about Hutterites ,they are the pacifist.300 years ago, they faced hatred and bigotry in Europe, and that is just because their beliefs. And now they are being together in western Canada and northern US, work and treat others just like brothers and sisters, but they do encourage the outsiders to join.
5.Youth For Human Rights- This is a very interesting website. And it is my favorite website! In this website , you can watch a lot of videos about human rights. The videos are visual and make you easier to understand. Anyway, it is a wonderful, helpful website.
6.Not In Our Town- This website is work for having a safety world, and also communities. And i learn that nothing is impossible, if you want to try. If you are suffering discrimination, speak out about it , if you do not against, discrimination existing forever. But if you do, there is a chance.

  16. a. From Amnesty International , I learned about a case about human rights in my country, China. Which is that Noble Price laureate Liu Xiaobo is jailed by the government of China because of his his long and non-violent struggle for fundamental human rights in China.
    b. From Human Rights Watch, I learned about the issue of Tibet in China. According to the report from the website, Chinese government has imposed drastic restrictions on Tibetan monasteries in the Aba prefecture of Sichuan province and other parts of the Tibetan plateau, which limited the freedom of Tibetan.
    c. From ADl, I learned the most from the page combating hate. This website is more likely to focus on the issues around the U.S., such as the discrimination, unfair events, etc. Moreover, this website has more details than the first two, so that when we deal with issues of human rights in America,we can reference this website.

  17. Amnesty International - is a global government That has a lot of group of person ( more than 3 millions supporters and members) around the world which campaign around to end grave abuses of human rights. They think that every person has the right to enjoy all the rights enshrined to the world. They also have everything that happens in each country and what they should do to help other country for having their own rights. What I also learn from this website is that my country (Madagascar) has been asked by this organization to be worry and care about the human rights of the citizens.

Human right Watch - What I like from this page is that its full of information that is what I’m looking for such as the human rights from other country for example. What I learn from it is that its a leading independent organizations that defends and protects human rights. They also bring greater justice and security to people around the world. This organization is well known as their challenges to the governments and the one who has the power to break human rights law.

Anti-Defamation league - What I like about this site is that they have a lot information of education, legislation, and advocacy. The only difference of this site to the other site is that it is just this organization fights for Anti-Semitism in the United States. What I learn from this website is that they give the knowledge and tools to fight anti-Semitism, hatred and intolerance.

    1. I learned that in my county Suriname Amnesty International has serious human rights concerns in Suriname, ranging from impunity for violations committed over the last two decades and ongoing violations by security forces to prison conditions and treatment of detainees. Other matters of concern include the situation of children, administration of justice, protection against discrimination and Suriname position on the death penalty.

2.My favorite website was Amnesty International because i didn’t know what was going on in my country but now i know.

    3. The way i can use this website is by keep going in to it so that i can know new updating new info

Before I go to the website of Amnesty International , I don’t really know what is it . By this website , I understand this organization well and deep . And I think it is a group that is really helpful and useful for us . In this group , we can show our abilities , and speak out what we want to say . Good group that is worth joining.
    Human Rights Watch
I read this website in my home language , Chinese , and i paid attention to what happened in my country . I am so sorry about hearing these bad things . I think the relationship between government and people is like boat and water , the water that Bears the Boat is the same that swallows . Government has to care for people’s opinions and requirements. But in this website , I saw much information shows how people are dissatisfied with government , and how the government ignore people’s suggest .
    The Anti Defamation League
In this website , I learned many things . The information here is like guide us how to do , how to make our fighting come true , and the two website above tell us what are they . One is action , one is theory .

This website offers many alternatives to give some help to the country beside U.S, to force the Human rights. I really like this page because they try to help the countries that don’t have freedom of speech at all. I would love to participate in those programs.

    *..The Anti Defamation League

  27. Amnesty International:
Its a very informative website, Reading through it, I informed myself about certain human rights issues going on in countries that I didn't even know that existed.I like it because besides informing you, it tells you how can you help regarding the violations of human rights around the world.

    Human Rights Watch:
It has a lot of information about violation of human rights in the world: this would be an excellent website to read, so we can understand what have happened before and how that has to be with the current events happening. watching this website I learned how many countries face the same struggle. Websites like this make you aware of whats outside our boxes, and makes you want to do something about it.

    The Anti Defamation League:
Even when this foundation was created to protect Jews from anti-semitism, over the years their coverage has extended to minorities such as hispanic, african americans and asians. I think that as they were fighting for the rights of Jew people they discovered how many other people needed to be defended against hate. I really like how they work on the media to control Anti-semitism and hate because in my opinion media as a broad field of comunication help to spread hate but at the same time can be controlled as it has being with the help of this organization.
